Join the Go Green Initiative for a special discussion on the importance of water conservation in the City of Pleasanton. Now more than ever, it is important to conserve water to ensure water accessibility and security for existing needs and future generations. The Go Green Initiative is a global environmental education program that trains teachers and volunteers in schools to conserve natural resources for future generations and protect human health through environmental stewardship. They provide free and continual instruction for volunteers in all 50 US states and 73 countries, teaching them to integrate environmental education into existing curriculum and quantify the environmental impact of their conservation efforts.
The Go Green Initiative invites Hacienda tenants and facilities managers to participate in their special upcoming Water Conservation Presentation. This online event will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Participants will be able to hear a presentation from Go Green high school and college interns followed by a question and answer session. The Go Green Initiative is working with the City of Pleasanton, the city's water retailer, and Zone 7, the regional water wholesaler, to engage with the community on ongoing needs for water conservation in the area.
This presentation is free to Hacienda affiliates but registration is required. For more information please visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe27FW6l6nVaGRbt5sHTT5BMRGhw6H_70sglaVuRH91PvixVA/viewform.
